Lab Innovations 2026
Join us at the Lab Innovations 2026 event from Wednesday 4 - Thursday 5 November at the NEC in Birmingham - stand K34. Discover how Skills4Science can help you recruit, train and develop your workforce through apprenticeships, Adult Funded Courses and funding support.
Helping Build the Future Science Workforce
Whether you're an independent science business, multiple NHS organisations or a healthcare employer, our team will be on hand throughout the Lab Innovations event to discuss practical workforce solutions.
From apprenticeships and Adult Skills Funded (ASF) Courses to funding advice and recruitment support, we'll help you find the right training pathway for your organisation.
Levy funding is a government-funded scheme that helps employers pay for apprenticeship training and assessment. Employers with an annual pay bill over £3 million contribute to the Apprenticeship Levy, with these funds held in an online account that can be used to invest in apprenticeship training.
Levy-paying employers can use their available funds to train their own employees or transfer unused funds to other employers. This allows businesses to access apprenticeship training, make the most of available funding, and support the development of new skills within their workforce.
